Arriving in Lesvos
By Air
Lesvos is easily reached by plane or ferry. There are several flights from Athens.
The airport of Mytilene (named “Odysseas Elytis Airport”) is daily connected with flights from Athens and Thessaloniki by Aegean Airlines (https://en.aegeanair.com/) and Astra Airlines (http://www.astra-airlines.gr/) which cooperate with several European airlines. Flying time is 40 to 50 minutes. Check out their websites for special prices especially if you book early!
In addition, charters fly directly to Mytilene from the UK (London, Manchester), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Germany (Berlin), Austria (Vienna), Italy (Roma) and other countries. However, there are only available on certain days of the week and months (e.g. June, July, August).

By Sea
During summer, there is a frequent daily schedule of ferries leaving from Piraeus (Athens) to Lesvos (Mytilene) as well as from Kavala on certain days of the week. Several companies go to Mytilene, the most known are Blue Star Ferries και Hellenic Seaways.

Transfer from Mytilene to Kalloni
Daily bus trips from Mytilene to Kalloni and back are available. http://www.ktel-lesvou.gr/
There will be a bus service for the students of the summer school from the airport to the hotel in the evening of August 19th, and from the hotel to the airport on August 25th.
