USEFUL INFORMATION FOR YOUR TRIP TO CHIOS
1. Flights from “El. Venizelos” airport of Athens to “Homer” airport of Chios
There are two airlines (Aegean/Olympic and Sky Express) with multiple itineraries per day. The duration of the flight is 45 minutes.

2. Ferries from Piraeus to Chios port and back
There is a ferry departing from Piraeus port in the evening (20:00 pm) five days per week and arriving after 8h 15 min at the port of Chios (early morning of the next day). From Chios to Piraeus, a ferry departs five days of the week at 22:00 pm. The fare ranges between 39 euro (for a seat) to 75 euros (for a cabin bed).
The trip, although long, is pleasant especially in the summer and has the additional benefit of being climate friendly. The port of Chios is located near the city centre.

3. Commuting from the airport to Chios city centre
The best way to commute to the Chios city from Chios airport is by taxi. There is a taxi station in front of the “Arrivals” gate. A reasonable price from the airport to the city centre is 10 euros.
