The International Summer School and Conference "Extended Arts- XARTS" is organized bi-annually by the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering of the University of the Aegean at Syros island. The third summer school XARTS 2017 focuses on Digital Animation and is scheduled from 22 to 30 of September 2017. The Programme comprises Lectures and Workshops, both internal for the Research Group and open to the wide public in association with Animasyros 10 International Festival and Agora.

Internal Lectures and workshops prepare XARTS2019 focusing on 3D Stereo Computer Animation, Character Design for Interactive Applications (including Motion Capture techniques), and Artistic Narratives Design using Animation techniques. International participants are expected and the working language is the English language.
