Students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation, but there is a range of accommodation to cater for varying budgets. When you book your accommodation, look at a map to make sure it is near the University. The post/zip code for Rhodes town is 85100, 85131 or 85132, depending on the area.

You can get to Rhodes either by air or by sea. In the summer months there are both scheduled and charter flights. The airport is on the west coast and the town can either be reached by taxi or bus. The port where the ferries from Piraeus dock is to the east of the old town, on Acandia Harbour.

For the duration of the course, the Galaxias Hotel is offering some Standard Cozy rooms with a balcony and breakfast for €80 euros per night for one person and €100 euros for 2 people.

This hotel is about 15 minutes’ walk from the university, in both a residential area, but also with shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

Reservations should be made directly with the reservations department (reservations@semiramis.gr) and will be accepted subject to availability. 
To secure a reservation, the customer must pay 30% of the total cost of his stay as a deposit.
Payment of the balance can be made upon arrival or during your stay at the hotel.

If you book one of the hotels above direct, please mention that you will be attending the summer school at the University of the Aegean in order to get their offer.

However, compare the price offered with those on websites such as Booking.com. You may find it cheaper, especially if you opt to have your breakfast out of the hotel. Remember the closer you get to the course date, the higher the price of accommodation.
