The University of the Aegean, Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, organises a unique Summer School with ten courses in Greek and two in English, with academics from Greek, British, German and Turkish universities.

MAKE A DOCUMENTARY
FROM A TO Z IN 7 DAYS
in Mytilene, Lesvos island, Greece
at the campus of the University Hill in Lesvos (photo down),
and above the beach of Varia.
There will be 3-5 hour sessions every morning, while the afternoons will be free for practice or leisure. No special academic qualifications or degrees are required provided that the student is capable of attending the preferable course and the exercises.
Τhe cost of the fees is 250 euros for the MAKE A DOCUMENTARY FROM A TO Z IN 7 DAYS workshop.
An estimated cost for the whole week might be the fees, plus around 180-240 euros for a single room with breakfast (or 120-180 euros per preson for sharing a double room or 100 euros for sharing a three-bed room), plus 60-80 euros for traveling from Athens by ship (around 40 euros from Turkey) plus 100-150 euros for catering.
Students book flights, ship tickets and hotels on their own, among the hotels proposed, or others, in extremely competitive prices (a discount of 20-50% has been arranged by the School) and stay as many days as they like.
Transportation in Lesvos costs around 1-1.50 euros per bus ticket.

The seminar is organised by the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication. This is a presentation of the Department prepared by its students Thanassi Giannou, Marilena Katsarou and Konstantino Athanasiadi.
