Accommodation

Accommodation is provided at the Heliotrope Hotel. All rooms have balconies overlooking the sea and the coast of Asia Minor and is equipped with air conditioning, color TV 20 satellite and Video, mini bar, direct dial phone, safe, pay TV, hairdryer, smart card, bath or shower and also rooms with hydromassage, sauna, feetmasage and music, Internet access via wireless network of the hotel (WiFi).

For participant of the AICEBERSEC2026 Summer School, the following accommodation options are available:

• Single Room: 80€ per night, plus 10€ special accommodation tax (breakfast buffet included)
• Double Room: 90€ per night, plus 10€ special accommodation tax (breakfast buffet included)

Students who will make a reservation at the Heliotrope Hotel should mention that they are attending the AICEBERSEC2026 Summer School.

Transportation

There are two ways to reach Lesvos Island.

• By air

Aegean Airlines and Sky Express has flights daily between Athens (Capital of Greece) and Mytilene (airport code : MJT).

Furthermore, during the summer season there are scheduled many charter flights connecting Lesvos with various European countries. Mytilene's airport is 3km from Heliotrope Hotel and 8km from the capital of Mytilene.

You can reach Heliotrope hotel from Mytilene's airport by public bus or by taxi.

• By sea

Lesvos is connected by many ferries from the mainland (Piraeus/Athens) and also from a lot of Greek islands. Details of routes and timetables can be found in  http://www.greekferries.gr/index.html  and http://www.openseas.gr.
