Venue
The Summer School “IPICS-2026 - Intensive Programme on Information & Communication Security” will be held in the conference room of the Heliotrope Hotel in Mytilene. This choice was made following a call for bids from local hotels, which were required to meet specific criteria necessary for the successful implementation of the conference, including the provision of a conference hall equipped with appropriate IT infrastructure, high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, audiovisual support, computers, video projectors, fax and printing services, as well as the provision of coffee and meals at very affordable prices, to ensure the sustainability of the conference. The organizing committee’s decision to hold the conference at a venue outside the University was made with the primary aim of combining lectures with activities that would contribute to the development of interpersonal relationships between students and instructors. Furthermore, the hotel is located one kilometer from the University of the Aegean’s facilities, so that in the event of any special need, members of the organizing committee can quickly access the University’s services.

Accommodation
All participants, trainees, and instructors are encouraged to stay at the “Heliotropio” hotel, where the training activities of the program will also take place. Trainees are encouraged to stay at the “Heliotropio” hotel if they choose, as this will facilitate their participation in both the educational and social activities of the summer school.
