NIKOS TZ. SERGIS

Nikos Tz. Sergis was born in Athens and studied Mathematics at the University of Athens. Subsequently, he got a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the Department of Philosophical and Social Studies, University of Crete and his PhD in Philosophy from the Department of Philosophy, Education and Psychology, University of Ioannina. So far he has completed two post-doctoral research projects in Philosophy (one at the ELTE University of Budapest and another at the University of Ioannina), while his third post-doctoral research is underway at the University of the Aegean. He has taught Ancient Greek Philosophy, Modern Greek Philosophy, Philosophy of Civilization, Philosophy of History, Philosophy of Language and Philosophy of Mathematics at the University of Ioannina, at the Democritus University of Thrace, and at the Departments of Philosophy and Modern Greek Studies of the ELTE University of Budapest. His publications (two monographs and more than 30 articles) are relevant to the fields of Social and Political Philosophy, History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, the study of the philosophical method, etc. 

 

 

THANASSIS SAKELLARIADIS

Thanassis Sakellariadis is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Ioannina, Greece. His interests include topics in Epistemology, Philosophy of Language and Philosophy of Literature.  He has written about Wittgenstein on forms of life, metaphor and consciousness.

 

 

NIKOLAOS VLAHAKIS

Nikolaos Vlahakis was born in Agios Nikolaos, Crete in 1967. He studied Philosophy at the Sofia's University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Public Administration at the National School of Public Administration in Athens and he was post-graduated (M.A.) in International Relations and Strategy at the Centre Européen de Recherches Internationales et Stratégiques (CERIS) in Brussels. He served as Press and Communication Counsellor at the Greek Embassies in Tirana, Brussels, Sofia, Budapest and Berlin, as also in the permanent Representations of Greece to the EU and NATO. He is PhD candidate at Sofia's University writing his thesis on John Rawls's theory for the Law of the Peoples and J.Habermas concept for the constitutionalization of the international relations in the globalization era. He has published three poetry collections and for the time being he is working as Head of unit for Analysis and Studies of the International Mass Media into the Ministry for Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Information of the Greek Government.

Σπούδασε σε τρία διαφορετικά εκπαιδευτικά περιβάλλοντα (Χημεία, Αρχιτεκτονική, Αρχαιολογία), προσπαθώντας να συνδυάσει τη «θετικιστική» μεθοδολογία, το δημιουργικό σχεδιασμό και τη θεωρητική αναζήτηση στο πεδίο της διαχείρισης και κοινωνικής αξιοποίησης των πολιτισμικών πόρων, και, κυρίως, την μουσειακή διαχείριση του παρελθόντος. Οι προβληματισμοί και οι προτάσεις της δοκιμάστηκαν στην πράξη σε μια σειρά μελετών που αφορούν συγκρότηση πλαισίων διαχείρισης πολιτισμικών πόρων, μουσειακές εκθέσεις –όπως το Μουσείο Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης- και επεμβάσεις σε αρχαιολογικούς χώρους –όπως το Οικομουσείο του Δισπηλιού-, ενώ, ταυτόχρονα, παρουσιάζονται σε δημοσιεύσεις και παρουσιάσεις σε συνέδρια. Είναι Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια και Διευθύντρια του Εργαστηρίου Μουσειολογίας στο Τμήμα Πολιτισμικής Τεχνολογίας και Επικοινωνίας του Πανεπιστημίου Αιγαίου. Κύρια ερευνητικά ενδιαφέροντα: θεωρητικά και μεθοδολογικά ζητήματα της μουσειακής πράξης, διαχείριση πολιτισμικών πόρων, δημόσια αρχαιολογία, καθώς και η εισβολή της ψηφιακής πραγματικότητας στα παραπάνω.
