Maurice Benayoun, Professor, School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong

A pioneer of Interactive Art, Dr. Benayoun is a Professor at the City University of Hong Kong- Creative Media School. His extended and important artistic work has been presented in the top international Museums, Exhibitions and Festivals of Interactive Art, and was awarded many top International Prizes and Recognitions. Internationally acclaimed Representative of Open Art, Dr Benayoun published several articles and was honored with several monographies in the course of his pioneering career.

Khaldoun Zreik, Professor, Director of Paragraphe Lab, University of Paris 8

Panagiotis Kyriakoulakos, Assistant Professor, University of the Aegean

Dr P. Kyriakoulakos has extensive experience in Teaching and Digital Production activities both in Greece and France since 1987, including Expertise for the MEDIA Programme of the European Union. Member of the Interactive Systems Design Laboratory of the Faculty since its foundation year 2000, Dr Kyriakoulakos participated in several Research Programmes, including the internationally awarded ARCHEOGUIDE (2000-2002) and HIST3D (2011-2015). Dr Kyriakoulakos received the Grant of Excellence Research in Paris 2013 from the City of Paris to conduct research in Paris, in the context of HIST3D Research framework. Dr Kyriakoulakos received the title of Chevalier des Palmes Academiques by the French Ministry of Education (2014) for his commitment to the French-Greek Cooperation in the Sectors of Education and Culture. He is the Scientific Coordinator of the International Conference and Summer School on Extended Arts (XARTS) since 2013.

Modestos Stavrakis, Assistant Professor, University of the Aegean

Dr Stavrakis’ research has led to the co-authoring of journals, conference publications and book chapters in the areas of Interaction Design and User Experience, HCI, computer aided collaborative design, web information systems, computer assistive technologies, virtual reality, digital media design, digital arts and distance/e-learning. He has an extensive teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate level in interaction design, interactive systems design, product design (ideation and concept design), multimedia, 3d modelling and computer animation. He supervised a number of undergraduate and postgraduate final year theses and is member of the supervisory committee of doctoral level students. He is a reviewer and scientific committee in several conferences and journals in the areas of interaction design, multimedia, and cultural heritage. He participated as a experienced researcher and scientific coordinator in several research and development projects that have been funded from national and international sources.
