Transportation

There are two ways to reach Lesvos Island.

By air

1) Aegean Airlines has four flights daily and 2) Astra Airlines has three flights weekly, each Thursday,Friday and Sunday between Athens (Capital of Greece) and Mytilene (airport code: MJT). Furthermore, during the summer season, there are scheduled many charter flights connecting Lesvos with various European countries. Mytilene's airport is 3km from Heliotrope Hotel and 7km from the capital of Mytilene.

By sea

Lesvos is connected by many ferries from the mainland (Piraeus/Athens) and also from a lot of Greek islands.
